Flipper question

I was wondering if anyone has had a Sheepdog or flipper cqc-7 de-waved? I understand EKI will de wave, and have seen other models modded to remove the wave. I haven't really seen any chatter over this, or pics, and wondered if anyone out there has done it? I kinda was regretting not picking up a waveless 8 from the last short run, and that got me to thinking about this. I would be pretty happy with the Sheepdog, maybe the 7, but I prefer a 7 without a wave in any case.
Anyone who has done this or thought about it please chime in and pics are always welcome. I will mention that I am not totally clear, with reference to the wave modding clause in the warranty. Does it mean they just won't work on the blade, or the whole knife(handles etc.)? Thanks in advance for everyone's time,

You can ask Emerson to de-wave it, that is a mod they will do. I too like the 7 waveless, although I prefer the "born" waveless variety over the "de-waved":
