Flipper suggestions?

I have become a major flipper fan, and am on a quest to find a new addition to the family, that I will like as much as my ZT400. I would like something with a fairly sturdy build, I won't be using it as a prybar, but I do want something that can stand up to some utilitalian cutting. My target price range is $200-$300, preferably on the lower end. My prefered blade length is ~4", nothing shorter than 3.5". I currently have my eye on the the ZT560, love that Hinderer design and ZT quality of construction and materials. Any other sugestions that meet these requirements? There don't seem to be too many flipper options out there. Thanks for your contributions.

Maybe give the spyderco southard flipper a look. I probably spelled it wrong. Also has a bearing pivot similar in design to the kvt on the 560.

Almost forgot not only is the southard flipper cheaper, it comes with cts-204p iirc which is equivalent in performance to and the American identical twin to bohler m390. Just thought I would put that to contemplate on.

I LOVE the ZT 560/561 design. I would say to go for this. If you look, you can find it for cheaper than the Southard Flipper.

Go with the 560! I have had one for about 2 months now and I loved it so much that I bought another one to give to my dad for christmas. I never though I would spend that much on an EDC since every other knife around $200 that I picked up didn't feel worth it, but once I got my hands on this one I have not been able to put it down. I don't think you could much better and definitely no better in the same price range.

I would contact Kershaw Guy to see if his sale is still going. His black friday pricing on the 0560 would blow the Spydie flipper out of the water.

I say get the Southard. And this is coming from someone who carried her ZT 0560 exclusively for several months.

0560 > Southard. 0560 Is truly an awesome knife. I've owned Hinderer's, Todd Begg's, Eddleman's, Mosier's, and countless others, but my 0561 is still in my weekly rotation. Can't recommend it enough.

An other one to think about is the CRKT Foresight. It's IKBS and opens like a rocket. Best $100 knife on the market

Go with the 560 IMO. You won't regret it.

I have the ZT 560 and can't stop using it. For me it's the perfect folder and I don't see what could be improved.

Are you saying that you enjoy the 560 more than the xm-18/xm-24?

i still enjoy the zt 0200, over the 0300, 0560. having owned a few of each the 0200 stays with me for good. the 0350 is nice though because it has the great zt shape but its smaller and thinner, more edc sized

I won't say its that I enjoy it more, but it's a different animal all together. The actions better then either my XM-24 or XM-18 3.5", plus it has a larger cutting edge than the 24. It's truly a great EDC

If you don't want to spend alot of money, CRKT makes some pretty good folders with flippers.
