Hello all,

I am looking for an up to 3 inch flipper, up to $150 (more if it really fits), preferably with a ti frame lock. As much as I look around I keep seeing the same options, and want something different to fill that niche.

Thanks in advance,

Alex

I don't know of any 3 inch bladed flippers with Ti under $150.
But I do have the Ti JYDII and it's a blade of about 3.5" with Ti handles and an Sg2 blade. Its a bit bigger than you want but it's only $80 on the exchange for a blem.

Hmm...a 3" or smaller titanium frame-lock flipper under $150? Off the top of my head, the only knife that fits that description is the Columbia River/Ken Onion Eros. I'm sure others will chime in with other possibilities, though.

A BF member did a review of the Eros here. The reviewed knife is the 2" version, but there's also a 3" coming out soon.

That's a tough one, because of the small size. Smallish flippers don't tend to work as well as a larger blade (Less weight to get it moving, I suppose).

Way below what you're looking for, but the Buck Vantage Pro is close. They're listed as having a 3.25" blade, but newer ones W/O any issues seem to be around 3 1/8".

Kershaw's Zing also fits the bill, but again, WAY below your price-point.

ZT's 0350 is close, but again, the blade's too big (I think it's around 3.25").

The only frame-lock flipper with a 3" blade I can think of is a Kershaw JYD I.

What are the same options you keep seeing over and over again?

You could try to hunt down a Kershaw Ti/ZDP-189 Leek, but they aren't exactly the easiest knife to find.
