Can the thumb stud on the 765 Monolock be unscrewed and flipped to the other side for left hand use?
I have one on the way. I’m hoping the stud is reversible.
No the thumb stud cannot be flipped to the other side. There is a countersink on the right side for the screw to sit in, the flat head screw would sit on the blade flat on the other side and stick out.
I put ambi thumbstuds from Benchmade on my 761. Jimmy is correct in how the counter sink is facing, but with the ambi studs, I found that they both fit well.
Hmm. The Megumi must not have had the counter sunk side, although it is designed the same way. Good to know.I put ambi thumbstuds from Benchmade on my 761. Jimmy is correct in how the counter sink is facing, but with the ambi studs, I found that they both fit well.
Where would be a good place to acquire these studs?
I’m assuming Benchmade directly, but is there a specific department?
Thanks
