I have been customizing my Camillus CUDA CQB-1, when it finally came down to wanting a high polish on the flats of the false-edge to give the knife a nice "custom look". I polished the area using wet/dry sandpaper clear up to 2500 grit, but I still couldn't get past a slightly "milky" finish...Until I remembered that I had a small tube of Flitz metal polish. I used a small amount on a small piece of cloth, and BAMMO...I can see my reflection in the flats just as clearly as in my bathroom mirror.

This stuff is amazing..

Flitz works so good that it's the only stuff that I use on my blades.

Many years ago a friend of mine handed me his Marlin Papoose. It was in a very sad state and completely covered with rust. He asked me if I could help clean it up. I had a sample packet of Flitz and some steel wool. When I was finished the gun was completely rust free. It took minimal effort. I've been a fan of Flitz ever since.

I noticed that at the Flitz web-site that I can get a free sample kit for $5. (I always thought that free ment FREE, but I see that they are charging $5 for shipping.)..

BTW...Militec never charged me $5 shipping for my FREE samples (2 of each) of Militec-1 Oil and Militec Grease..
