Florida Get-together

I know it's too early to be making detailed plans for the Florida gathering, but shouldn't we start narrowing down the time frame and the place (many of us have to schedule our vacations in advance)? As far as place, I don't have any strong feelings. As far as time of year, I would personally like to see it around early February. That way, every one will have had a chance to get over the trauma of Christmas. However, I'm easy, I'll happily go along with whatever the majority decides.
 
RayC is handling the details and he will be on vacation until the 10th of next month, I think. The month of Feb. is target and Miami is a good gateway for those of us who must fly in but I am open to anything that works.

I won't be able to get out of here until after the first of the year and that may be a planning consideration although I am quite sure you could have a great convention even if old Uncle Bill was absent.

I sure don't want to be guilty of contributing to your developing a swelled head, Uncle Bill, but in all candor, it would not be a Khuk Khunvention without the head Khuk Knut!

Harry, call the hospital and tell them to get out the trephining tools. And make it FAST - this time he thinks that he has immunity due to age!

 
Uncle Bill, you mentioned Miami as a possible site due to it being a central gateway, which it certainly is. However, the last time I flew into Miami, which was admittedly some years ago, it was a major, and costly, ordeal to get from the airport to the outlying area I was visiting. So I was wondering where in the Miami area were you thinking the gathering might be? Or are you thinking that it might actually be in the city of Miami itself?
