Just a short hike through the woods. Got eaten alive by the mosquitoes but all else was great. Took my new toys out to play as well. Enjoy.

Thanks for sharing the pictures and that hike looks like fun. It appears that you have the right gear and good idea for the long sleeves, to keep the skeeters at bay.

Me and the wife vacationed in the Everglades about 10 years ago and had a great time. Florida has some of the most wild and unique outdoors anywhere and you are lucky to be able to enjoy it.

Nice photos, thanks for sharing. How do you like that Cold Steel hawk?

Good pictures Jay, thanks. I sure wish I could get my 'significant other' out hiking.

I'm a North Florida lad myself.

Just got to South Florida, on vacation, did some mountain biking at Oleta, thinking about heading up north a bit for some hiking, or maybe the lazy way out and just go for an airboat ride in the Everglades. Thanks for the pics.

I was debating about getting the master hunter or the Falkniver F1, I got the F1 but not sure if I'm gonna stop there, I may get the master hunter yet.

What? Mosquitoes gotta be crazy messing with a guy with a hawk......
Cool pics. Like your toys too.

I cant stand mosquitoes!! They can turn a outdoor outing into hell  (and they have!)

How about that Master Hunter? It looks alot like the F1...Does it feel like the F1 too? And hows the stock sheath that comes with the Cold Steel? It looks pretty practical, abit like ESEEs sheaths.

Thanks for sharing Jay...I too am curious about what part you were in. My wife is from FL and has family from Panama City down to Bartow...a lot of cool place for hikes.

Those Trailhawks are great tools! Santa brought both me and my son one for this past Christmas:D
