So I'm 14, and from Alaska where it is perfectly legal to carry concealed weapons especially knives.

I'm visiting California soon and I am totally lost without a knife.

So I'm wondering, can I bring a knife about 3.5 inch blade length, no assisted opening, black painted gerber knife with me?

Btw it's in Disney land so does that change it?

No knives in Disneyland, no exceptions. They relaxed their security so you might be able to get on through with it now days but it's still not allowed and their security is far more extensive than you can see. My friend is a major Disney fanatic and for several years while growing up he went there on a fairly regular basis, and even now as adults we are known to get a couple buddies together and take a road trip down there. He went on about their security and the extent that they go through and though it has relaxed quite a bit compared to immediately post 9/11 I wouldn't expect to be able to pull out a knife to even cut a string off your jacket without being caught on surveillance and ejected from the park. The park is also so packed that you won't be able to open one without raising alarm to someone around you even if you try to do it quietly.

Oh saw this was for florida, that will be Disney World not Disneyland. Same thing will probably apply though I am not sure of what their security is like upon entering the park. But the security inside the park and survalance will probably be the same if not more.

So are you going to Florida or California?
While it might be the same rules for Disney, it will be different rules outside the park.

Thers no knifes allowed at all in either disney, I,ve been sent back to my car when I accidentally forgot I was wearing a spyderco clipped in my watch pocket, the security didn't miss it they're good at what they do, and in case you don,t know some of the costumed characters are also security,
Here in Orlando carrying a small pocket knife wouldn't cause a problem, but if a 14 year old was carrying a fixed blade especially around the tourist traps you'd probably get hassled,,,,,, most people are just uncomfortable seeing a knife on someone, especially a younger person, ,,,,,,I have been stopped and questioned when wearing a medium sized fixed blade back in my early 20,s,, now with my concealed weapons license nobody knows what I have,
But to avoid trouble if I were you I just carry a small pocket knife and keep it in your pocket, remember to getting though the airport you'd have to have it packed away in your baggage.
