Everyone,
Hi! I'm new to knives and just bought a Kershaw 3650CKT. I live in Florida and have been told that the law for carrying knives is simply "no ballistic knives," but I have my doubts. What do the Florida knife carrying laws state? Is the knife I just bought illegal to carry, concealed or not? What defines concealment? If the entire knife is hidden? If it's latched onto my pocket, with a little bit of exposure?

nope i also live in fl but towards the south and the law states "normal pocket knife" so its super vague

i pretty much stay away from fixed blades and stay out of trouble

i would stay away from black coatings as people are stupid

i generally set the limit to 4 in and no dagger type blades

but really i carry what ever the f$&# i want and if a cop has a problem with it i am fully prepared to argue for it such as i carry a "large" knife to help with food prep and it has a black blade cause i hate when i cut my lettuce and it browns thus i can get around it with this coating

really stay away from autos and any double edged knives

and possibly assisted opening

but once again its vague so its up to the cop remember be nice and friendly and polite all sirs and mams and i haven't had any problems
