On Saturday, October 6th, the Florida Knifemakers Association will hold their 4th Annual show. It will be held in Tampa at the Marriott Westshore, just off of I-275, from, I believe, 9:00 AM thru 5:00 PM(it is the closing time thatI am unsure of). This is a handmade/custom knives only show. It is not the largest show around but there is a nice selection of makers(and one or two suppliers) scheduled to attend. I will be there. Don't know my table #, but small show, easy to find everyone.

This knife show caught me by surprise! I'll be flying into Tampa on other business on the 6th. I'll be staying at the Marriott Waterside. Wish it was the one with the knife show, but I think I'll try real hard to get to the show.

The Marriott Westshore is less than 5 min. from Tampa international airport. You will be within 1/2 a mile from it no matter where you are headed! If you are renting a car just get directions from them, they will know where to send you. If you are having someone drive you, all the cabbies will have no problem and you can either get directions from Marriott if it will be an aquaintance driving. Good luck and hope to see you there!

Looks like I may have found a show I can acctually attend. Hope to see some of the Forumite's there.
 
Just a reminder that the show is this Saturday. According to their website, the show is sold out for tables. Not the biggest show but should be well worth a look.

Hey Guy's,

Looking forward to meeting some of your forumites at the Show. I was able to get a table at the last minute, due to a cancellation. So look for the Dempsey Knife table, drop by and say hello. I will be introducing two new models at the show, a military / combat piece and a wicked little hawk-bill piece designed for conceald carry. The design of the knife is well suited for use employing the Fillipino Grip. Sorry, I done have any pic's to post yet, but if there is interest, I can post them after the show.
