Recently picked up a damascus knife on the cheap made by Joe Flournoy. Does anyone have any info on this maker.

He's a maker from El Dorado Arkansas. Been around for a while makes nice knives. Usually found at the blade show behind Jerry Fisk right up front.

Thank you sir, I have a knife that Joe listed as the first damascus knife he ever made. Made in Jerry's shop in the early 90s.

I think his work is really good, met him at the Blade Show in 2001 nice guy, enjoyed talking with him.
If you got one of his blades at a good price your a lucky man IMO!!!!!

The first custom knife that I ever bought was from Joe Flournoy back at the Guild show in the early 90's when it was in Orlando the first time. Great guy.
