Hey guys this flower below was nestled in and around some old pines with some deciduous trees nearby (not many). it probably gets 1/2 days sun. more so in the afternoon. i was clearing out some places to fish next to the lake near my house and noticed the flower. I thought my wife would like to see a picture of it. I am almost certain its a native NC flower but there are so many i dont know where to start. perhaps some of you could help narrow it down. thanks in advance. sorry about the low quality pic. i didnt use macro on my droid x. next time ill take a real camera lol
