About the nicest piece of wood I have ever put on a knife. It's Rosewood Burl. The horizontal lines are reflection.

That is beautiful ! It looks like it would fit nicely in my paw , I love the overall "user" look to it , although if I owned that wild horse couldnt make me do more than cut paper or show it off to my buddies hehe.
That wood is outstanding and nice job on the sheath as well.
