Some years ago I had several Randalls, along with other makers knives but downsized considerably. I noticed recently in one of our closets 3 of the stainless steel staffs / spear handles (for the 18) that Floyd Byrd made. I've owned 5 through the years and sold two maybe 8 or 10 years ago. I kept these around thinking my wife and I might use them. We tried them on a walk in NH back in '04 (it was paved, so the rubber tips on two of them show some slight signs of use)--this was their only time in use; otherwise, they've been in the back of a closet. The longer one is approx. 52" from end to end. The two shorter ones are approx. 28" long, and can screw together to form a ~48" staff / spear handle (they screw together by removing one of the rubber bottom pieces or tips and one of the brass "skull crusher" tops). Each has a the brass "skull crusher" top (I think that's what it was called--my memory may be off on this, they are knurled at the base and move in a conical shape toward a point). HERE'S MY QUESTION--sorry to be "long winded"--any tips or thoughts on whether I should try and sell them on ebay or on this or another similar knife forum? I don't have a use for them and I thought someone else might. Thanks for your thoughts, if you have a moment. I'll check back in this afternoon or tonight. Kind Regards-Mike
