Fluted dagger and stand

Here is a fluted dagger I just finished with a Geod rock with black Walnut for the stand. My damascus, nickel silver fittings, and pre-ban elephant ivory. Blade length is 6 1/8 inches and overall length is 10 1/2 inches. Blade is 1/4 inch thick at guard with distal taper to tip. These I love to make.

very nice. The excution is perfect. I know, you made it and probably know of at least 3 invisible flaws, that's our curse as makers. I really like the contrast with the blade and handle materials.

Dan that is just slick. Boy that damascus really stands out, looks great.
