I've always liked the Spyderco Native. When I first got interested in Spyderco's back in 1999/2000 it was the one knife that I really wanted and I thought if I bought that knife I won't need anything else. ;) I'll be happy to have that knife.

I did get one and carried it for years, love that knife. It is still around here somewhere. I've bought other brands, and many other Spyderco's but I always come back to the Native. I probably have 6-7 Natives laying around here in bags, drawers etc. Well today I picked up the best of them when I got the Titanium fluted version.

It seems to nice to carry, but I didn't buy it to sit in a drawer with the others so it is in my pocket and will soon be dirty and probably scratched.

Just wanted to share a pic before it got any scratches and I'm glad I finally got this one.

:D:D

Thanks, for the compliments. Kinda hard to stop handling it. That fluted titanium is really nice.

:D:D

I'm trying to decide between that one and the upcoming fluted carbon fiber version, not the commemorative/Damascus version, but the plain S90v one that Knife Center has listed. That ti one is incredible, though!

Awesome! The fluted and contoured handle really give it a different feel from its standard G-10 counterpart.

That is a beauty. The fluting design on the Native is nicer than on the Military (in my opinion).

Good picture. And congratulations to you on buying it to be a user rather than a safe queen.

That is a work of art! I have two natives, love them both, but this one here is definitely a special one. Congrats!!

The best feature of this model is the contouring of the scales. The Native5 G10 has very square edges and is very blocky. I carry one a lot and find the Fluted Ti version far more comfortable in the hand. Same goes for the fluted Ti Military. Super comfy contouring.
