Re-Etched the blade and bolsters with help from the tips from the thread I posted in the Shop talk forum. I also fileworked the screw heads. Let me know what you think?

The damascus looks great, and the overall blade shape is classic. I very much like the work on the scales.

I think for this piece that the screws would have greatly benefitted from a different filework pattern, say the crosscut with the flourishes in between, and I wish it were bigger.

If it was, I would buy it right now, and that is the truth.

Let me know if you do another one like it, but bigger, like 3 3/4" blade. I will take it, if it is not already spoken for.
