Fly or Pheasant Tail ??

Are the two designs the same ? If so, why is it referred to as a Pheasant tail (it looks like a fly to me)?

Just got a large fly (pheasant tail?) - and I really like it!

It's called the Fly Sebenza . . . and is a decent sketch of an actual trout fishing pattern called the "pheasant tail". So, any knowledgeable knife knut who is also a fly fisherman will know what you mean with either term.

CRK offered a CGG (computer cenerated graphic) series last year. The pattern for the custom graphic Fly design was included in the CCG and renamed Pheasant Tail, the graphics are identical. There may be slight variations in the colors on annodizing between various knives.

This was explained to me by Julie at CRK, the PT is my favorite design and will be on the next Sebenza in my collection.

So Ralph, you and I have more in common. First we both like Chris Reeve's Knives and second we both fly fish.

We decided to rename the Fly as the Pheasant Tail because sometime down the line, we might well add another style of Fly. Note: nothing in the pipeline yet!!!
