Flying to montana for snowmobile expedition and would like to mail knives/gear to

Thanks shotgun, but I am staying at a lodge that is accessable only by snowmobile and several hours away. I thought about shipping it to the gear rental shop as a last resort but I don't know how trustworthy they are.

Also any gear tips would be appreciated as I have no idea what I'm getting into. I think I'll be renting gloves/mittens, helmet, and snowsuit

Pack some gear in checked luggage.
Call the lodge and ask how to to get some gearr to the location safely. They would know.
