I was at an auction and got a few things but in one of the box’s was a switchblade. I flipped it open and read the bottom of one of the blades. It said Flylock. It looks very old and is not too fancy as a lot of them. Does anyone have any info about Flylocks?

might get more answers if ya ask in the switchblade auto forum or ask a mod nicely to move this thread there for you.

It's an early 20th century switchblade. Flylocks were manufactured by Challenge Cut Co. from 1918-1923 and then by the Flylock Knife Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut from 1923-1929.

They made single and multi-blade autos in American patterns (sheepsfoot, hawkbill, etc.) distinctly unlike the more well-known Italian stilettos.

Thanks! Glad someone could help
