Picked this one up today. Very nice 5.7 IOM. The neat thing is I also got a slide cover with FN factory tritium sights. Rear are orange and front in green. You'll also notice it has bumps instead of slide of slide serrations.

Thanks for looking.

I've always wanted to shoot a 5.7 20 rnds and from what I've heard..its close to shooting a 22...I can only imagine doing rapid follow up shots...

Now if I can only afford my PS-90 TR....:o

Nice snag! I own a usg and i love that thing. I want a second one but the price jumped up a little more than I'm willing to spend any time soon.

nice set up, congrats, I picked mine up last year and love it. A complete dream to shoot

Nice. I like that slide where did you pick that up? I also have the IOM and picked up a USG for my wife. Found a great price on SS192 and now we're set.

I'd love one if ss190 was available for less than 10 dollars a round on gunbroker. Fun little gun though, no recoil and fast follow up shots.

I got it from a friend. I had never seen one until he showed it to me. Its not a complete slide, just the plastic cover and sights. I was going to install it but its more of a collectors item. Will probably end up sending in the stock IOM slide in for tritium.

That is pretty cool.

:D

Wish I had one :( :)

You need a holster & mag pouches

THats a sweet piece there Rover.

I must say since I have a set from Dave, so are the holsters and mag pouches

Ok, so,help me out here. I have a few guns, but I'm not a gun guy. I gather that this is an unusual round/weapon, but please help me understand what exactly makes this thing special. Not knocking it, by any means, just school me please. Thanks.

High capacity, high velocity, no recoil, "armor piercing" rifle ammunition. Fun little gun, but honestly the round is a little too small for my taste (see screenname). The best part is, the anti gunners hate them.

230 hit the major points. I'll add that the five seven is pretty light weight even with 21 riundnsb and accurate. With the low recoil and fast roundu its pretty easy to put a lot of nasty little rounds in the right spot.

I believe that with armor piercing ammo, it will punch through more than 3 balistic vests without the trauma plates. It also extends your effective range beyond what a standard pistol round has.

Also, in a really really funny news article out of California, apparently, according to the chief of police in an interview, this round is specifically designed to hunt bears, tigers, elephants and other big dangerous nasty game...........it is a super high powered round, and heck if it is powerful enough to kill an elephant then it must be too dangerous for our own citizens to own..................the story was linked here on bladeforums a while ago. Good for a great laugh.
