Has anybody had any experience with this pistol good or bad.I'm thinking of getting one if my taxes come in nice next year.It seems more like a toy than a good carry pistol but the ballistics sure do rate well. If not I'm a sure bet for a snubnose .38

def a fun gun kinda thing. Way to big to edc imho but those little bullets just sizz;e out the barrel. very little drop even at extended ranges. tear the heck put of oranges 2. i dont own one but ive shot my duddies several times.

I was interested in getting one of these, but several friends told me they chrono'd one and it didn't make minor power factor....

I run a gunshop an have shot the P90 and 5.7 pistol alot. I would not stake my or my loved ones life on the caliber. Like most hi-tech toys they look better on paper than they actually work in real life. Buy a good quality .357 instead, you will be better armed for life and death affairs. If the muzzle blast of .357s is too much carry .38+p ammo. Good Luck Bigk6

i sure havent heard the ballistics rate well, IIRC its main use is defeating soft body armor with armor piercing rounds which arent legal for civilians to own, with std ammo its about like a 22 mag IIRC.

if ya want something for serious use i would get a 9MM, .40, etc, if ya just want a toy, go for it.

Thanks for the feedback.I guess I'll go for the Cheifs special .38.I already have a .40 cal glock  I'm just looking for a new pistol that is reliable, and fun to shoot.I wanted to go for a small .32 like the kel tec but my gunsmith said that they kind of self destruct after a while.(I cant have a gun and not shoot it  )

Joe, the NYSP are going to the Glock in 45GAP and now I just heard that the PA SP are doing the same .The PA troopers will also each be issued an AR15 !!!...The 40 is a great cartridge ,I've had one for over 12 years .Using Corbon DPX ,the best of the best....For a small gun , have you handled the Kahr ? There are some nice small 9mm guns out there. If you want a revolver get a small 357 and shoot 38 or 38+P.

It's about like a .22Mag. To me it's a special purpose type of pistol, meant to defeat body armor (with the ammo that you can't get).

I just don't see much that it's good for and I worry that the ammo will be real hard to find and expensive in a couple of years.

The .38 on the other hand. Well proven and ammo is everywhere!

Dont mess with P.A.
I handled the Khar,S&W and just about every .40 cal auto I could get my hands on.I ended up purchasing the Glock 23 out of overall satisfaction and high reccomendations from LEO's and of course dad!I installed some change out parts to make the glock a little more comfortable, extended mag and slide release and sent it to a pro for the trigger job.
Something like this would suit me just fine :D 7 shot .357/.38 +p and crimson trace grips....santa clause .....paging santa clause

while i have heard the the kel tec P3ATs have some probs the P32 is pretty good, i have never heard of them "self destructing" whats he mean by that?

FWIW i have a P32 and have put probably +1000 rounds thru it, no problems yet, a great little pocket pistol imho, i had a gunsmith put a large red bead (off a shotgun) on it for a for a front sight, which works a lot better than the std "sight" they have, i carried it for several yrs all the time back when i routinely carried 2 pistols, was really happy with it. now i "make do" with just one pistol, so it rarely gets carried now.

in fact i shot it along with my nieghbors seecamp .32 and i'm not sure i dont like the kel tec better, it lighter, slimmer, holds more ammo, just as reliable, just as accurate, and a heck of a lot cheaper to boot.

so anyway point being i dont think they self destruct, dont know where he's coming from with that.
