After some looking around I guess this is the place to post an introduction.
I am active on fly fishing and paratrooper forums so if you see tw5270 on a forum you belong to other than this one it is probably me.
I am not yet a full blown collector. I have a dozen or so buck knies that I have purchased over the years to use. Recently (in the last year) I have been looking for a new knife for my son and am not finding the same quality (at a decent price, meaning $100 or less) in a knife that I grew accustomed to in my youth. Sooooo, that lead me to looking at older blades and that lead me here.
I am also an amature "picker" meaning I buy a lot of junk and sell most of it online.
I have over the course of time bought and sold a few knives that I knew to have value for a profit. I have enjoyed browsing through these forums over the last months and have already learned quite a bit. I am sad to say I will not be able to offer much expertise in the knife arena, but I will jump in on other subjects I may have a strong knowledge on. (Vinyl Records, Militaria, vintage toys, and of course fly fishing)
I hope to learn more and maybe contribute some here as well.
