FNG questions on edc knives

hi.i'm relatively new to this site(have read it for a while,but just recently registered...anyway-here it goes-i am currently a microtech slut.i just love them!but i live in ny...so i can't legally carry an auto unless i am actively fishing or hunting...so my question is-what kind of folding knife has a blade around 3.5" and is as sexy as a microtech?(i know there are micro haters out there.you have your reasons...but mine have all preformed flawlessly)thanks in advance for the input!(been looking at the spyderco techno or chapparal)

I don't find Microtechs sexy at all but the Benchmade 581 might fit the bill.
 
I'm confused, you ask for a knife with around a 3.5" blade, then list the two you are thinking of, one of which has a tiny 2.5" blade, and one with a blade just under 3"...

For the size you asked for, look at something like a spyderco paramilitary 2 or endura.
