I ordered my 1st EsEE a couple of days ago (IZULA) and found this site. Now I may order a few more, at least 1 more IZULA. I went to the ESEE web page and found out the LEO stuff they do. That is where the 2nd IZULA comes in. I thought after the 1st one I ordered that it would be nice if they did one for my agency, yea they do.... This crap all started after I lost my Protech Auto in the brush searching for some people. The IzULA seems like a cost effective replacement. Does anyone know who does a custom Kydex sheath and flashlight combo. I will probably get a compact fenix light. not sure which light yet but small and runs a long time. I ordered from BladeHq but if there is a place that might be better i will give it a try on my next go in a month or two. I just have to find a good wrap. I plan to gut the cord and wanted to use a black/OD green cord. Thanks for any useful input.
 
Welcome to Blade Forums. I am also interested in a custom kydex Izula / Flashlight sheath. I am sure Mr. Shotgunner can pull it off, but I don't believe he is taking orders at this time. I am thinking fo getting the tools to attempt making one on my own. If you do find anyone that can make this type sheath, let me know. Good luck...
 
Welcome and congrats in the IZULA! I just got my second, and wrapped it today, I found this and like it so far. I used 1 piece of OD green ( that's the only color I had) and it turned out pretty good. Makes for a slightly thicker grip than the way that's on the info sheet that comes with the knife.

A great place to order ESEE knives with first class service is from Dale at www.the-knife-connection.com. If I'm not mistaken, I'd check with Hoopster as I'm pretty sure he makes kydex sheaths. Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Izulas!

The Izzy is the most knife for the money (and size) I have owned -- you'll love it!
 
RAT since I found this place, I have been doing a lot of reading. Thats where I got the idea for the useless monkey fist- i gotta figure out how to weave it in the 180 katana wrap. RAT i read a lot of stuff about your knives cant wait to actually have some experience. im gonna use that thing to bust some brush at work. i will get a 2nd so i can send you one to sharpen and use the other :D i cant sharpen a blade worth a crap

If you want to send your Izula off to have someone sharpen it, contact Richard J here on the forum. He's got the reputation of being the absolute best!:thumbup:
 
HEY 333 I love you!!!! I just looked up the knife connection and bought a IZULAII. The prices were better than bladehq where i got the Izula. I got the IZULAII with grips,sheath, and belt clip plus the AH-1 for the price of the Izula :jerkit: ah oh well spread the love around i guess, but i will be sure to look up the knife connection more often. now to decide which one for work till i get my LEO engraved Izula. ok no more knives till i get my paclite for the 22/45

Nah Cricket- the snip was for giving me the site. i wasnt going to order anything for a while but i couldnt pass that up- i am a very sarcastic person- i know i am new here but that snip RAT brought it out. everything is cool put your knives away

Don't worry bro, I knew exactly what you meant when I read it. It made me laugh so no problem, I have a pretty sarcastic sense of humor also.:D Glad to hear that you picked up an Izula II. I told ya Dale's got a great place to shop!
