Fob??No Fob??

Just got my first new one today and I'm not sure waht to do with the fob. I think if I take it off I won't be able to get it back on again. What do you guys do?and do you knoe how to get it back on?

Shane, see the FAQ, it has links to instructions of a couple of different ways to tie the fob back on. They are easy to do once you get the hang of it.

I like the fob when using a standard sheath or pocket carry, and only take it off for horizontal carry when using one of Gary's sheathes.

I carry the Umfaan with the lanyard on, today as a matter of fact! But the other ones I prefer the horizontal sheath and that precludes the clip and lanyard but I don't miss it on them.

I've had a lot of request for the Umfaan style sheath, canted, to fit the small and large Sebenzas so they could leave the lanyard on and they have been working out pretty well, still need to remove the clip, but again, wear a sheath? or use the clip, you can always put the clip back on later.

I made a little dealy out of a piece of scrap Kydex, braided into a leather fob so the knife hangs inside your pocket by the pockets lip, works good.
