I was just on a business trip last week in Dallas, Texas, and found out there was a Fogo's nearby. After hearing so much about it from all you guys that go to the one in Atlanta during Blade, I convinced the guys I was with to check it out before we left. All I can say is WOW! Talk about service. I don't think any of our glasses got to half empty before it was refilled, and the food was amazing. Dessert was almost too pretty to eat (but boy did it taste good!)

The only downside was the price. Between the 3 of us, we had a $180 bill, and we weren't even drinking alchohol. I did see Louis XIII for $125 a glass though. :D Anyone who hasn't eaten there, I highly recommend it.

Congrats Dan --- fogo and custom Busses --- that's almost like Blade in Atlanta!

Almost... :D I hope to make it to Blade sometime soon. Maybe 08 if I'm lucky.

Nice custom meaner!:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks. It was kind of a "sight unseen" deal, but the INFI brother that scored it for me has some excellent taste! He had an idea of what I was looking for and the rest was all his choice. I'd say he did a pretty good job! :D

Sweet combo it is man, Fogo and Wauseon products...

Only one thing....

If you had room for dessert, you didn't do something right....

You should be in a meat coma, and wheeled out in a semi-conscious state mumbling "more house special" or "pass the fried bananas"....

Looks liek you'll just have t ohit another one and try again...

I've been to them maybe 10 or 15 times, and am still "practicing"....

Hope you can make it to Blade '08.

You aren't joking when you say "meat coma"! They don't mess around there. I didn't finish one piece of meat, before the guchos were asking if I wanted more. I don't think there was one thing there that I didn't like. I kind of knew the drill, so I saved a small bit of room for dessert, but it was just an amazing place. The fried bananas weren't bad either. :thumbup: I'm definately gonna try for Blade next year, and hit Fogo's with everyone. It could only be better with a bunch of crazed INFI-holics, new knives, and MEAT! :D

And don't forget to bring a Busse knife to cut your meat with. [Yes, I know, preposition on the end and all ...]

You don't want to upset Big Bad Dave Brown! :eek:

I recommend an AK ... or perhaps a Ruck, if you have trouble handling your Busse. :D
