folded bowie

Where is a good place to buy a good quality bowie w/ some kind of stag horn or bone handle and a good folded steel blade? I dont want a mantle piece i need a functioning knife. if anyone has any sujestions that would be great.

folded bowie was a bad title for my original post. sorry. im looking for a full sized folded steel bowie. im gonna check out what you sujested though, sounds cool to me.

I'm confused. You don't want a mantle piece but yet you're considering a damascus blade? Perhaps you're thinking about a "forged" steel blade?

in saying i dont want a mantle piece i mean that i want something sturdy. not something just made for looks. or a working bowie.

Generally speaking, Damascus blades are valued more for their beauty than for their service as a tough everyday work work knife (although they could be used in that manner). I suggest you narrow your search for a bowie to blade material other than Damascus if you're looking for a "user." It would also help if you could establish a price range that you're willing to pay. I think there are many friends here that are happy to help you find what you're looking for. Have fun.
