Can it be done?

What I'm curious about is whether or not a spike tomahawk could be made via the folding technique traditionally used to make high quality japanese katanas. What Pros and Cons can you all forsee to this manufacturing process? I'm brewing a hawk concept in my head and I need imput! :D

Yes, the idea I have was inspired by Lonnie's japanese influenced hawks. However, I always thought that Damascus steel was layered steel and therefore different than folded steel. Am I incorrect?

Quick question about Lonnie. I think I saw that he doesn't take custom orders, just orders that modify his current pieces. Is there anyone else who makes damascus tomahawks that might be willing to make a truly custom piece, or do you think it'd be worth my trouble seeing if Lonnie would be willing to make my piece?

Damascus steel is JUST A TERM OF PHASE some "Damascus steel" is powdered
then layerd to make differnt patterns then super heated to get yer billet.
Others are different steels,
layerd stuffed in a tube with flux heated the whacked:D
then theres the type thats cut twisted folded etc
then again I could be wrong:footinmou
FSCJedi it's worth a call to see if Lonnie. would make a custom piece he can only say Yes:D or No:grumpy:
let us know what the out come is
all the best
Chris
