Finished this folder up yesterday, its the second folder I've made.
OAL - 5 3/4", closed 3 !/2" , blade 2 3/8.
Blade steel is 1080, damascus back strap and bolsters. Titanium liners and the scales are sanded stag.
I have no idea what the red is on top of the scales. The deeper I ground the more the red showed, it must have been something produced in the antler during antler growth?

Thanks for lookin,

Bill

Oh, yer killin' me here Bill. That's cool looking. Now here's a fella that can do anything he puts his mind to. I like the first folder better but, this is definately sweet.

lookin' good, Bill - an inspiration to those of use holdin' back....

You need a new image host, Bill, yours keeps fading in and out. I guess I'll check back later and see if they're working.

Thanks guys. I appreciate it.

J. anyone can do these things if I can, I am pretty persisitant. I think more then anything persistance, is the key to about any success. As for the first one being better, I like it a little better too, but while it makes for a great hunting folder its a little to big for an every day carry, in my pocket anyway. So I built this one smaller, you don't even know its there and it will do anything I expect from a knife except butcher or chop wood, and thats why I got a butcher knife and a chainsaw. :D

Larrin, its been working fine for me, but last time I posted, several had the same problem, its yahoo I guess.

Thanks again,

Bill

Cool Bill, I liked the looks of the first on better too, but that should be a handy EDC, folders are kind of adictive aren't they?

Is there no learning curve for you Bill? These first two folders make it look like you've been doing it for years. Beautiful work. :)
