Hello everyone! My most used EDC was a Spyderco Manbug in ZDP-189, but I recently lost it 😔 I fear I won't be able to find it again, so I'm wondering what tiny folding knives around the $60 point have you used that get the best edge retention? It will primarily only be used for opening boxes, letters, maybe cutting the occasional zip tye, etc. I'm basically looking for something that will fit in the little watch pocket of my jeans, and have crazy good edge retention for controlled cuts. Thanks for any suggestions!

PS I tried finding zdp 189 manbugs for sale to replace mine, and they are stupid expensive now, so thats why I'm looking for other options. Thanks!

I'm all for budget high performance knives, but 60s asking for alot. I have 4 seki knives in k390. It's hard, I don't think your gonna get to that level of performance for 60 bucks. I'd save for a little longer to get into a spot you can spend a bit more if that's what your looking for. Never held the man bug but I do have a dragonfly and am impressed by its usefulness with a 4 finger grip. Can get it in wharncliff to in k390.

If your set on 60 bucks you may want to look for used knives

I think the Ladybug and Manbug are basically as good as it gets for value, I can't think of something that even really approaches the K390 Ladybug if you want supersteel for around $60.
