VERY artistic design Marcello. It looks like a modern sculpture in the form of a knife. The blade design is really cool. Tigereye is one of my favorite stones and it looks very good on the knife.

Thanks for showing your work,
Peter

Marcello beautiful piece, I really like the work on the handle, perhaps my taste, I would prefer the steel blade. Congratulations. Ciao Tore

Marcello, very nice meeting you in Milan, that's a beautiful knife, I'm glad I had the opportunity to play with it. The new owner must be happy.

As I've learned, Marcello's folders look simple...

Then I start figuring out where he hides the screws. (And there are screws.) There is a LOT of engineering in this!

Bravo!

Just the opposite here. I generally do not care for damascus as a blade material, but really find the visual flow of this folder appealing, in part precisely because of the damascus. Very nice piece.

I agree completely....the "why" is because the pattern runs off the blade at the tip, and being completely encapsulated in the outside steel would have looked much cleaner, imo. In the absence of this detail, polished stainless steel would have been my preference.

That said, this is the best designed Sardinian piece that I have seen posted....ever.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

STeven, first of all thank you for your kind words, I also wanted the pattern to be all surrounded by the dark steel, but I haven't been able to.
Zafeiriadis,thanks for your nice words

I agree entirely. And it has nothing to do with the particular Damascus pattern of this knife. It is just that I do not like the Damascus blade with the non-Damascus handle steel.

Still, it is a stunning knife that anyone would be proud to own. Congratulations - and thank you very much for sharing!

beautiful knife Marcello,
thank you for the great picture.

all the best
