OK this is my first attempt at posting images. I will know in a minute if it worked. The problem with this folder is that the blade tip doesn't lie flat when closed. I can think of fixing it by grinding off the tang a bit until flush. When the knife is closed the spring angles down. What i don't know is if it will just bend down more if I grind the tang, making matters worse and leaving me without a solution. If the images don't post I can be e-mailed at hfriedman1@outlook.com and then I can certainly send the photos. I will keep trying to post as you all seem to be able to do it and I have just been avoiding it for three years. Long enough. Thanks all.

I can't comment on your folder repair. However your photo is showing up as a link. Which certainly works. However on imgur you can post a photo directly to the forum by clicking on the edit feature in your photo on Imgur (upper right hand corner of your photo). When that opens up select the down arrow, again in the right hand corner, and select "Get share links" then copy the BBCodeForums link and paste. Your photo will then show up directly in your post.

The base of the tang is worn. You can grind the kick, and it may have enough meat on it to allow the tip to settle in the scales, but the back spring will sink deeper also.

I don’t think there’s a good fix for it. I see older knives that weren’t oiled have this issue fairly regularly.

The easiest way for me was to click on the photo, then copy the "direct link". Then paste it into the space for the link. With a Gold membership or better, you don't even need imgur.
