Folder sales in the south?

I went to the local army navy store with liz today to check out a benchmade bali...while I was there, I asked if they were going to get any Byrd knives in. He told me that the sales of Spyderco knives are so poor here (the south) that they might just stop carrying spyderco altogether.

And I was complaining about not being able to try a para or persion. Now it might be hard for new folks to try even a delica.

I didn't really ask about the other knives, I think they get tired of seeing me try all the new knives...

You guys know anything?

SPydercos only sell to people willing to spend more then normal money. The Byrds I would sell better as they are much lower in price.

BTW, there's a paramilitary floating around the passaround forum.
