Folder sheath I made today

This is the first sheath I have made in 10 years , and the second folder sheath ever .
I put this together quickly today , as a trial run to iron out a few design issues and will spend a lot more time over my Christmas break doing it right .
Even though it was a rush job , I'm very happy with the overall look and balance of it .

It looks great.......I like the angle as well...........I really like using a horizontal sheath for my pocket knife..........carl

I plan on making a few sheaths of this design over Christmas and will take some time a care with them , this one was just a draft .
I plan to incorporate a couple of its features ( rolled edge and angle of opening ) into all my folder sheaths from now on as a kind of signature of my work .

Very nicely done Ken, love it and the angle and rolled entrance looks like a nice signature there too !

I'm going to report you to the folded folder sheaths union for making angle rolled folded folder sheaths with out a union card.......:eek:













Uh? Wait a minute there is no folded folder sheath union - carry on......:D

There are people here saying nice things , who I know rate very highly in the sheath making world , those people leave me in their dust with their abilities , and I only hope to one day maybe catch them up.
I will get better , and I will have fun doing it .

I'm far from an expert on this technique , I would also be very interested and would really appreciate some of the experienced guys advice and guidance on this .

Well it looks very nice brother! Better than what I can do rounding an edge; cause I don't even know how to start rolling it lol....

Still got some finishing to do on it , but I'm learning from my mistakes :)
