Folder size problem

Hi guys this is the first time I open an thread in a manufacturer's forum. I did not post in general forum because I am sticking on Cold Steel this time for my next folder.

I have great experience on my Tuff for several months as an hard use knife and the Tri-ad is really awesome.

However , when I try to find a full size folder in CS products I failed. A full size folder for me could be a under 8.5' overall length and at least 4' for grip.

Many CS folder is larger than 9' , and if they don't then they have less than 3.5' for grip ---------- the problem is that they all have some kind of bold finger guard ,taking a big percentage of handle.

The Hold Outs do not have a finger guard but the 3' one is just too small. I also looked into the new Code 4. Why are they equipped with skinny and slippy handle scales? If it is G10 then everything is perfect.

The American Lawman, have good length but too wide when carry . And the folding hunters is plainly heavy.

Do you have any idea on my next folder ?

Regards,

Henry

try the Rajah 3. Its just over your overall length requirement at 8.75in but has more than enough handle. Its very ergonomic so the handle material should not be a problem but could be easily modded. Also the finger choil isnt too crazy imo.
But the MACKINAC HUNTER seems like your best bet. Ive seen lots of custom g10 scales made for these and they look fantastic!
