Looking for flat bar spring material I can use in folders that is stainless...found some W1 in 1/16" X 1/8" but that is not SS.
Anybody...Maybe an alternative source?

Are you looking for liners or a backspring? Chuck bybee has some stainless liner material. For backsprings on lockbacks and slipjoints just use the same steel you used for the blade. Usually you can get precision ground stuff in thicknesses .020 apart to leave room for washers.

Texas knifemakers sells work hardened 302 stainless steel for springs. It comes in flat strips in a couple different sizes.
