What are my choices for a folder with a blade length under 3.5"?

Benchmade 720, 721, and 722 (tanto).

Look like great knives.

Also, most of the popular folding knives have a smaller version. Eg: AFCK, Carnivore, BM 710.

The Spyderco Vesuvius and Lum are two classy looking folders that are between 3& 3.5". The Lum with anodized aluminum scales being the more expensive of the two.

Man, there are many. Just off the top of my head:

Spyderco Native
Spyderco Delica
Spyderco Gunting
Benchmade 690
Benchmade 450
Benchmade 350
Benchmade 722
Camillus EDC
CRKT Crawfors/Kasper (small)
CRKT Tighe Tac
CRKT L.U.S.
CRKT Sampson's KISS
Benchmade 905 Mini-Stryker
Gerber AR 3.00
Buck Odyssey
Buck NXT
Cold Steel Voyager (Medium)
Emerson CQC7 Mini-B
Benchmade Mini-AFCK
Böker Super Liner
Timberline Discovery
Kershaw Liner Action (small)
Meyerco Big Rascal
Microtech Mini-SOCOM
Spyderco Viele
CRKT BladeLock

Whew! I'm sure there are others.

Spyderco Calypso Jr.

Benchmade Mini stryker 905 is a great knife for the money. I have tons of MT's and MOD's and this knife is my carry knife. The handle rocks!

MOD Trident got two of these. AWESOME knife awesome company. You can't lose with either one of these two!

Dann, you beat me to the punch. I recommend both the REKAT's. I favor the Carny Cub, myself, but I own Pioneers also and it is one tough little knife.

A Pat on the Back is only a few inches from a Kick in the Butt.

I second the BM 350
Also, I reccomend the Spyderco Goddard Ltwt.

Spydies... Bet you can't buy just one.

Clayton,

You may ONLY choose from the above!

Actually, a bit more information would be nice.

I've been enjoying the redesigned Spyderco Herbst a lot lately. Very nice, under 3", but it feels much bigger.

Thanks guys for all the help, I think

. A few more choices than what I'd thought at first. I want blade length to be as close to 3.25 as possible. The Emerson CQC7A/B looks nice, as does the REKAT Pioneer II and MOD Trident. Any comments on these three? If all else fails I'll stick with my Delica and medium Voyager tanto.

705, 350, EDC, Gunting, Toad (I put the Toad in with everything.)
Good Luck,
MAtt

REKAT states that the Pioneer II will hold over 1000! lbs "at the pivot". To my way of thinking, this is one STRONG, tough folder! Also, I find the ATS-34 steel to sharpen easily to a razor-sharp edge, and stay sharp through quite alot of cutting tasks.

The Benchmade 770 is about 3" long with an Axis lock and solid carbon fiber scales. My favorite small knife.
