Here's the latest folder out of my shop. I think this is only the 10th folder I've made. I really like the contrast of the scales.

W2 steel blade
3 3/16" blade, 4" closed
Blackwood scales with hand checkered bolsters and curly koa inlays
Bronze hand filed backspacer
Jeweled titanium liners

Thanks for the great pic Coop!

Oh, man! I can sure see it! I was really curious reading your description and wondered what it all looked like before scrolling down. I really like that one, John.

Always happy every time seeing a well made carbon/wood/titanium folder... This one is beautiful executed.

John,
I know you are very proud of this knife (as you should be). Your attention to subtle details is superlative. The Koa inlays are absolutely seamless with the ebony. The checkering is on point (i can’t find a rounded edge on any of the checkering). I know you pushed yourself on this one and I’m glad you did. I’m super proud to own this knife. Your ability to make a modern knife that oozes with classic traditional visual appeal sets you apart from others.

John loves to add small, hidden twists in his details. What the pics show is a backspacer that is geared and fluted. What you can’t see is that when the knife is opened, the underside of the backspacer has some very awesome firework resembling a thorny vine. Very cool sneaky addition. John deserves a bit of attention for this one.

^^ Ha HA! I like to refer to these perks as 'buried treasure'.

I can't show it all, nor do I want to. ;)
