Hi folks,
Can you recommend a folder with a
1- 4ish inch cutting blade
2- with the thinnest blade possible 2mm or less if possible?
3- That is not a liner or lock back? also no openel :)
4- Preferably with steel like vg10 or better but i'll take aus8.

I know its hard to think of something like this.
Thanks

A melon tester or a doctor's knife would be your best bet.

I not promoting any brand just the pattern gets a single blade doctors knife:

And here's a melon tester:

When I was a kid some 40 years ago, these were common knife to find in a kid's pocket where I grew up, they were long and thin making them great slicers. They also looked wickedly cool when you waved them around Westside Story style. ;)

Thanks guys

crom: Openels are great slicers, I loce the blade but hate the rest of the knife.
JDunn709, I have the big calipso but I dont like lock backs much.
AddictedtoGear, The manix is a good candidate.
Thanks everyone. Any more?

T. Erdelyi, Alnamvet68, Thanks Those are interesting.

dr_fosg8, I love the mili but 4mm is on the tick side. I would love one with 2mm or even 3mm.

If you can go up to 3mm, why not the Benchmade 710? Almost 4" blade, axis lock, available in excellent steels (my two are in D2 and M390). One of my all-time favorites.
