Folder with a Mora-like Handle?

I've been carrying either my Boker Trance or CS American Lawman seemingly forever and have recently started thinking of getting something new. I really love Morakniv's handles on their fixed blades, especially like the Clipper, Basic or Companion series. Is there any folders out there that have the same shape or very close handles as the Moras? Thank you.

It's not exactly the same, but the 560 Freek from Benchmade has a similar hand filling feel to it. Nicely contoured with a rubberized texture.

It tends to grab fabric a bit when it's new, but wears in and picks up oils from your hand. Goes in and out of the pocket fine afterwards.

Even Spiny Lizards love it!

I recently got a Real Steel Bushcraft Folder and its handle is somewhat similar to the Mora Companion series. Scandi blade, too!

Helle Skala folder, handle profile is almost identical but is cocobolo, not rubber and polymer.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest.
Not sure if this would be a bad idea or anything, but I think one may be able to put plastidip on the outside of the scales.

If you like the CS American Lawman you should consider the ultimate hunter. I don't own one yet but the G10 scales are thicker and rounded.

Buck Selkirk is very similar in shape, but not that soft polymer grippy rubber. Heavy though, and no clip.
On the other hand, the folding ErgoHunter has a different shape, but a grippy rubber handle.

If you're looking for something cheaper, the Kershaw Whirlwind (tip down, a/o) or LoneRock (sheath, no clip), or CRKT or shenanigan (tip down) woukd all provide a similar palm swell, whereas a CRKT free range folder would give a grippy rubber handle... all fill the hand well.

Nice Sceloporus olivaceus! Here we have a cousin species (actually, a sub species), the Clark's desert spiny lizard. They're extremely common, even in town. None I've seen were friendly enough to get that close though.

I got the full flat grind and put a convex secondary bevel on it. Great knife! Good steel, HT, ergo, etc. Gonna buy one with the Scandi grind as well.

I was thinking the same thing, but mine does have the clip. That's the small folding Selkirk tho, perhaps you're referring to the larger one which was made to be carried in a belt sheath.

I should have noted that it's the Mora handle shape I'm looking for. Yes, it'd be nice to get something alike their grippy covering as well but I'd be good with regular G10, etc.. I saw that Opinel. Very nice. I'm not too sure about that lock though. I do like the CS Ultimate Hunter and Finn Wolf but their handles seem huge. I was just checking out the DPx Gear Dpx Heat/f. Really nice and D2 blade. I gotta say though...if Boker came out with a premium version of the Trance I'd be all over that. I love the ergos but wish the blade steel was better. It's good but D2 or better would be stellar.

That was at 6am. He was out sunning, but hadn't warmed up yet. May as well have been a poseable toy.

Yeah, I think the biggest issue you'll find is that most folders are made to be "thinner" while the Mora companion handle is more then 0.75" thick.

The Reate k2 for example, has a nice long handle with a similar swell as a Mora, but is more the a qtr inch thinner. Lionsteel SR1/SR11 is another one with a similarly swelled handle but a good qtr inch thinner. (Same boat as the DPx hest).

Emerson Patriot.
Spyderco pm2.
MilTac CAD.
Enzo birk 75

All have a similar swell in the handle, all closer to .5" thick.

Thanks guys. I'm digging that CS Ultimate Hunter. I do like that Enzo Birk. Beautifully sleek. I can't find the Mitac CAD though... The only Spyderco that piques my interest now is the Lil' LionSpy. Beautiful. I'll NEVER buy another Emerson after my two bad experiences with them. I wish there was a local store I could handle all the ones I'm interested in so I might have to chance it.
