I hope everyone is having a great week! Here's some of my recent work, please enjoy the pics! :D

Coke Bottle Handle, Tapered Tang... .25" thick Acidwashed S7 steel and Ghost Carbon Fiber

Swoosh... (grind) :D

Carbide Edge Friction Folder - 6al4v Titanium all around with a 72 RC Tungsten Carbide Edge to do the cutting.

Kamisori Style Kitchen Utility Run!

This is at 80 grit... they are much thinner now! Hollow main grind and convex reverse...

Lots of grinding and sanding later... hand rubbed to 800 grit. I still need to do more work on everything grind wise but the main grinds are looking good!

Burn in the ferrule the rest of the way! This went even better than I had hoped for. I'm testing for fit in this pic.

Parts! Silver Twill spacer is also now ready to go.

Almost time for glue-up.

And last... Drop Point RF2 Framelock!

Really cool variety there Daniel. I was a little let down that the was no photo of the completed kamisori. It's obviously going to be badass!

Thanks Bob! The Kamisori styled ones re still in the works, I'll update here once I get them finished up. I'm excited to try them out!

I some how missed that friction folder before. I dig how you did the ano.

Thanks FBC! I'm excited about that one, first stippled perimeter too but it doesn't really show in the pics. Much appreciated!

I like the looks of the framework. What are the specs.
Do you make a 4.5 version?

Thanks! No 4.5" blade yet but the handle is close. :) Here are the specs on that one. I also make the RF1 which is beefier and roughly the same length.

8.1" Total Length
4.6" Handle
3.5" Blade
.140" 6al4v Titanium Frame and Lock Side
.155" D2 Steel Blade
Stainless Steel Hardware
Ceramic Detent
Phosphor Bronze Washers
Carved Ti DFK logo Clip
Flat Chisel grind with Mirror Polished Convex Edge
Stonewashed Finish on Blade and Frames with Contrasting Mirror Polished Hardware
Carbidized Lock Bar Face
Early Lock Up
Incognito Signature on Frame Inside

I like them all but the friction folder is just flat out cool looking!!

Thanks Justin! That one may be my favorite yet...

NIce knives. I like the first folder very much!

Much appreciated David!

Good god those are all gorgeous! Even the ones that are styles I don't normally like (coke bottle handle and friction folder) were absolutely droolworthy.

Does the yanagiba have a urasaki?

No Urasuki grind and no urasaki either! :D

I generally do the Ura on knives that traditionally have one but I wanted this to be a bit different for those who like a more straightforward geometry.

I checked out your site and have to say, nice work on the knives!

Thanks! I'm having fun lately working on all sorts of styles... good to hear!

Thanks - those Ti friction folders are soooo sweet. Every time I see them posted I have to look a few times.
