Yo!
I'm planning a purchase at one stop knife shop for some jaguars (I'm wearing the ones I have out at an alarming pace) and a 42. Now, since I'm placing an order at 1SKS for balisongs I might just as well order something else while I'm at it.

I'm looking for a nice, not too expensive (~$50), small folder that has a great design and allows you to open it with one hand.

So, if anyone knows of such a knife at 1SKS or if you have some other favourite (small) folder, please let me know, so that I can look into it. I have my eye on a couple already, but it's hard to tell from just the pictures shich are good, and which aren't.

And today I was once again reminded that the serrated jaguar I have will be very lonely for a long while. Plain edges are just so much better, because you can make them really really sharp and, still you don't cut yourself when you man a mistake playing with it. A serrated blade will rip your finger open, even when the blade just brushes you.

Well, well... Maybe I should get some work done today... what do you say?

I think a good bet for a sub $50 knife would be the CRKT point guard. I had the small one and loved it till i lost it snowboarding (don't ask). The big one is also great if your looking for something a bit more substantial. Both plain edge and partial serrations are great. LAWKs is a nice feature as well. Go code-3, and save on all your purchases. E

Igota year old Spydie Police from somewhere....because it was old stock...I have an idea that it was their website. It was like 68 dollars.Ilove my police more than any other folder Ive had....and it looks mean.

I suggest you just wait for a good deal to come up on the forums. If your patient, you can pick up like a used mini-afck or stryker for $50.

Any Spyderco is a good choice. The Endura and Natives are popular choices and I can attest to the quality of the Native.

Simon, Doesn't the native now come in all stainless with an AUS-10 blade? Very tempting...

Now, I've decided which folders to order. I took a look at the CRKT Point Guard, and fell in love with it (thanks, afee). I'm going for the smaller one (to begin with). And then I saw another CRKT in the window of a store here in Sweden. The K.I.S.S., which is way cool. I went into the store today and got to caress it for a while. But I'd be a fool to buy it there. They wanted 390 SEK, which is about $45. No, I'd rather buy it at 1sks for $25... along with my 42a. By the way, is it to "kinky-freaky-fanatic(illy)"

to name your knives? I haven't named any knives yet, but a name for my 42a just snuck up from behind and attacked me. Can't get it out of my head.

Well, well....

Let's get back to work! Yeeaaaayyy!

It only would sound freaky if you talked to it or said something like, "Yeah, I like to play with Billy, you know, the 9 incher." That would scare people. I named all of my butterfly knives.......Balisong!!!
