I don't know what the correct term is for this. I'm talking about knives that use steel pins to turn folders into fixed blades
Here is the list of models I know of:

Extrema Ratio Rao
Midgardsmesser folders
Böker plus caracal 42
Nedfoss da52
Maxace Hephaestus, titanis, vortex
Reate t1000
Battlehorse treefrog
Even if it is not produced for this purpose, some cold steels have suitable holes (four max scout, ad10). Pins can be inserted as in the Rao model. But cold steel does not need it.

The list has expanded thanks to the contributions received. Here are the new knives:

Wander tactical mistral
Artisan cutlery Proponent
Artisan cutlery Arcaeo

These are the ones that come to my mind for now. Can you share the models you know?

Until the last photo I thought it was a nice classic pocket knife made for edc. When I saw the size in the last photo I fell in love. This thing is huge. The only objection is that the pin could be a little thicker for such a big knife.

I'm sure he had his reasons for the choice!!! Hopefully he will chime in since I tagged him!!!
Have a great day!!

hello👋
the size of the pin was really just a result of what I had on hand, but most of the force being applied to a knife like this will end up being exerted on the stop pin, which is .25" in this case. The pin is just there to ensure that if the lockbar gives way, the knife won't close on your hand. I suppose it could have been larger diameter, but I didn't think it was necessary. We'll probably never know, since it is a pretty tough thing for an indie knife maker to thoroughly test

It's so big that everything looks small next to it. Maybe that's what fooled me. İt's just amazing.

A pin lock is much less weapony.
That's for sure ! :(

If needed for SD , you'd have to call for a few minutes grace to pin your lock . :p

Assuming you could find that pesky pin !

(I try very hard to avoid those "some places" .)

...are the Cold Steel Tri-ad lock models , because a pin is entirely unnecessary ! ;)

Unless you just enjoy messing around with a pin ? 🥵
If you read the post you will see that I have already said what you wrote.

-Maxace Sandstorm V2
-Daggerr Parrot 2.0 (the flathead body screw is the fixing pin)
