Folder's with a wicked look

I am looking for a folder for my EDC.
-Preferably with a blade from 3-4"
-A locking mechanism that easily allows one handed opening and closing.
-A blade shape that can be sharpened relatively easily
-Pleasing to the eye with that nasty look to it.
-A decent pocket clip
I've been looking at BM's 805SBT and 806SD2. Is the blade materials that much different between the two?

If there are any other brands/models anyone can suggest it would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying to keep the price below $110

Thanks,
Eian

Get the Benchmade 805. Trust me on this...I have a pair of 'em, and it's my all-time favorite folder!.:).

Try to find a Spyderco Shabaria. They are manufacture discontinued but sometimes you can still find them on ebay.

Benchmade Mini-Stryker. 3" 154CM blade with G-10 scales. The "mini" description is a bit misleading because this isn't a small knife. (7.1" open) You can pick one up for around 80-85 bucks on the internet.

The benchmade 806 or 805 would be a fine choice.
The 805's 440C is a really good steel - very rust resistant. The 806's D2 is one of my favs too. Its blade is coated, so I've never had any signs of rust or anything on it either.

The Spyderco Civilian is about the most wicked looking folder I can think of, but its not what I would call easily sharpened.

Cold Steel Vaquero

I missed the part about sharpening easily, you could try the CS El Hombre, it's a little smaller than the massive Vaquero, but it is available with a plain edge.

I always found the Spyderco Police SE to be really wicked looking. From my experience, it tends to be the knife that scares the most sheeple when it's opened. The blade looks like it's really reaching out to touch someone. The civian is probably more "wicked" looking but I've never seen one in person.

I would second the Shabaria because:

1. Blade is 3.813 inches
2. SpyderHole + Liner Lock = Easy opening and closing
3. The Plain Edge Blade shouldn't be too hard to sharpen, but it does have a unique recurve...
4. ...which gives it a wicked look
5. Spyderco pioneered the pocket clip :D

If you can find it, it'll most likely be in that $110 price range, unless someone is trying to rip you off. :p

I personally don't like the 805. There is so much handle for th blade, and the axis lock seems subpar to me. Perhaps I just never got to use one that was broken in, but every time one comes into the store it has and incredibly stiff lock. I prefer the 710 to it. The 154cm takes an edge pretty easily in my experiance. I would also throw out the Emerson Commander BTS. That thing looks wicked.
