Most manufacturer uaw carbon fiber in limited edition variants of existing knives.

The leading carbon fibers models are: (1) Chris Reeve - Carbon Fiber Sebenza 21; (2) ZT 0777 (M390); (3) Strider Carbon Fiber SNG/SMF; (4) ZT 0770. These models are quite expensive but boast some of the best blade/weight ratios out there. Carbon fiber is an outstanding handle material due to its lightness, strength, and functional texture [not excessively grippy or slippery].

More affordable carbon fiber models [including peel-ply]: (1) Spyderco Sage 1; (2) Spyderco Gayle Bradley; (3) Enzo PK 70; (4) Spyderco Stretch/Endura/Caly 3.5.

There's also the smaller Spyderco Chaparral or the Spyderco nishijin dragonfly, Spyderco nishijin Cricket, if you don't mind a sub-3" blade. The Chaparral is peel-ply btw.

KnifeArt does a sebenza with a full CF scale, not just inlays.

There are also a few craftsmen here that do custom scales. G10, micarta, and even carbon fiber. keyman and rival to name a couple.

Isnt the Spydercos g10 laminate? Ive got the domino, and not sure how i like the g10 laminate :/

Yes, all of the Taiwan Sypdercos use laminate.

I believe the Caly and other Japanese ones use real CF.

Various Benchmade limiteds are in CF.

Kershaw Tilt, ZT0777 and ZT0770cf are all full CF.

Okey, ill do a closer look on those Spydercos. :)
Those benchmades are hard to get i guess?

The 0770cf i'm hoping to buy, if My dealer gets it in stock that is.. :/

Oh, ill contact them and see if they are interested. :)
Have you seen Cajun Blaze Carbon fibre sebenza? That is Totally gorgeous !! Think the scale is made by Bower Bladeworks.

Just a quick comment. don't own any carbon fiber folders, but I'm making a handle for my fighter out of aircraft carbon fiber materials.

1. VERY hard. It ate one of my router bits.
2. Dusty and smells during sanding. Needs filter mask.
3. I still itch after working it all weekend.

But it sure looks nice when finished.

Carry on with your conversation. Sorry for the hijack.

You can buy custom scales from many knife pimpers, the preacher makes custom scales. If you are into custom knives then you can always customize those with carbon fiber and silver twill. Spyderco Sage, Domino, Chapparal, CRK CF Sebenza on knife art.com, and many more.

I think you need a full respirator not just a dust mask. Cf dust is nasty and you don't want it in your lungs.

You're absolutely right, and if possible work under runnig water.

Not mentioned yet the spyderco Native 4 is CF, tho out of production they're for sale often here and the bay.

I just got this custom by Sacha Thiel, it's called Citizen..Sacha is based in France.
