Folders with Guards?

Are there any folders out there with guards, you know like the old Marbles Folding Safety Hunter? My Grandmother's old boyfriend, both now long deceased, used to have a Folding Safety Hunter and I always liked it for some reason. I doubt if I can find a real one around that I could afford.

I don't have any real need for one, I just liked the looks of that particular style.

I picked up a Case Cheetah in bonestag at my local Ace Hardware about a month ago. As far as I know, they are in production, or at least available. Lockback with swing guard, similar to the Queen pictured above.

Case, Queen, and Canal Street Cutlery all make swing-guard knives. But the best-quality swing guard I've seen is the AG Russell model, made in Germany.

Bulldog also makes the Swing Guards. They are similar, if not the same, as the AG Russell ones. They are carbon steel.

You can also get these as Weidmannsheil. Those have damascus or carbon steel models.

Both are done for Parker Knives.

So:

Queen
Bulldog
Weidmannsheil
AG Russell
Canal Street
Marbles

all make the Swing Guard.

Size wise, the Queen is the longest, and the Parkers are the smallest, with Marbles in the middle. Don't have the others to compare.

wow, nice knives. i have been considering one of those puma medicis but, now that i stumbled upon an old spear point schatt and morgan online, i HAVE to have one now. what an absolutely beautiful knife that is. where have they been all my life??
