Folders with recurve blades?

I really like the Emerson Commander with its deep recurve blade however I think it is a bit over priced. What do you guys recommend for a more economical recurve blade folder (3-4" blade). I have looked at the Benchmade 710,750 and AFCK but their recurve isn't nearly as deep.

How about the Cold Steel "El Hombre"? I've never handled the knife (no pun intended

I would strongly recommend the Kershaw Boa. It has a CPM 440V 3 3/8" recurved blade that is as sharp as all get out! It also has the speed safe opening system and is manufactured to a very high level. I love mine as much as any knife I own and I own alot of knives. The REKAT Carnivore and Carnivore Cub also are fine recurved bladed folders.

Outdoor Edge is soon to release their "Paragee". A production version of the Darrel Ralph Apogee. Looks like it might be a nice piece and the price ain't gonna break ya @ $60 retail.

I have both the REKAT Carnivore and the Cub. Both are well made knives with a recurve blade. I am very impressed with the Cub. A great little knife, a real work horse. I like it much better than the Pioneer from REKAT.

Spyderco Military has some recurve on its blade, and it's a great utility knife. In my opinion go get a REKAT SIFU, maybe just a little longer than what you want, but the recurve blade is beatiful on this beast

I love my CS El Hombre, I have a plain edge and that curve makes it a wicked slicer. Now I have a 710 and a AFCK and like them fine but for curves go with the El Hombre. It is a frn and not g10, but it slices almost like a hawkbill and has a point that can still stab.

I just happened to see the Kershaw Boa in a knife catalog and I thought about this thread. I sure would like to see a smaller, sub 7" version of this knife.
