Folders With Thick Handles!

Hi friends,

I wear size Medium gloves. One thing I discovered yesterday, when I received my CRKT Hammond Cruiser, is how awesome it is to have a folder with thick handles!!! So comfortable!!!

Look at this thing compared to a Mora Companion and Kershaw Brawler.

Check out the thickness of the handles. Left to right: CRKT, Mora, Kershaw

The CRKT is going to be my new EDC. Many of you probably will say it's too thick to EDC comfortably...Well, not for me because I don't wear tight skinny jeans like most of you.

My question to you my friends is what other folders have thick handles like this?
And also, this CRKT Hammond Cruiser is awesome, why was it discontinued?

ZT 0550 is about as thick as ill go for a folder.

My EDC folder rarely gets used for more than a minute at a time, so in-hand comfort is not that important. As long as the handle does not cause immediate pain when used, the ergonomics are good enough.

Koster's folding bushcraft knife looks like a real winner if comfort and ergonomics are your primary concern.

I agree, that's why I EDC the CRKT Hammond Cruiser...flipper, thick handles, serrated blade are some of it's features.

and to correct you it should be "a FOLDER without a flipper..."
