If you have found a folder with ZERO bladeplay please list it!
I've found one so far and its the CRK sebenza.

I recently sold a Sebenza with 0 blade play and I now carry a Benchmade 943 with 0 blade play. I guess I am on a lucky streak.

Sebenza and Strider AR for me so far. My 551 has just a hint of left/right play because I have the pivot loose enough to swing the blade open by pulling the AXIS lock back; if I tighten it up a little, there's no play.

My Al Mar SERE 2000 has ZERO blade-play, or if it has any, it's so small that I can't see it or feel it.

Most of my folders have zero blade play... if I tighten down the pivot screw extra-hard. The Sebenza is the only folder of mine that has zero blade play while maintaining a smooth opening action.

I HATE bladeplay...

These knives have zero bladeplay....

Cutter Knife and Tool Brend Manual

Buck Strider 880 Tanto

Microtech Socom and Socom Elite manual

Spyderco Stainless Endura

Tom Anderson customs

Emerson CQC7

CRK small Sebenzas and Umfaan
Victorinox alox SAKs
Case mini Copperlock

I think I just got lucky on the Case...

CRK, CUDA Maxx, Microtech, MOD, Greco folders (!!!) -- all rock solid. My Buck/Strider and Emerson (Raven and Commander) were easy to tighten just right and they hold fine.

I don't have problems with Spydercos generally or any of the Benchmades I've had. A real winner is the Ka-Bar Dozier Thorn -- absolutely precise, smooth, tight pivot.

You know what, though? There aren't many of these you can use as hammers or prybars and still expect zero blade play :)
